The governor Maximiliano Pullaro headed this Sunday the inaugural act of the 80th edition of the Rural Exhibition of the city of San Justo, which takes place in the premises of the Rural Society, kilometre 565 of the National Route Nº 11. It is an event that allows to show the great productive potential of the centre north of Santa Fe, and that counts on a strong accompaniment of the provincial government.
The Expo Rural San Justo began on Friday and runs until Monday, under the slogan "80 years of evolution". On this occasion, there are 150 exhibitors, more than 40 sponsors, more than 20 livestock herds of all breeds, 250 producers for sale and 4 auctions; exhibitions, talks and shows.
Accompanying the Governor during the opening were the Ministers of Government and Public Innovation, Fabián Bastía and of Productive Development, Gustavo Puccini; the Mayor of San Justo, Nicolás Cuesta; the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the province, Clara García; the Senator for the Department of San Justo, Rodrigo Borla; the President of the Rural Society of San Justo, Mariano Zuqueli; and the President of Carsfe, Sara Gardiol, among others.
Looking at the productive interior
During his speech, Pullaro stressed that "as a province we are the countryside and industry, commerce and ports. That is why from here, from San Justo, in this emblematic place where 80 years ago the countryside, industry and commerce came together to show all the power of the productive interior, we want to tell the national government that the way for Argentina to move forward is if it manages to understand that it has to look much more to the productive interior, that it has to come and relate to the people who want to work".
In this sense, the governor stressed: "We want the countryside and industry to take their feet out of their heads and let them produce. That is what we are doing from our position as provincial government, with the permanent support to the labour and productive sectors of Santa Fe" and then remarked: "Santa Fe will never be passed over again. And when the national governments do not support the productive system from the rest of the provinces and only provide for the AMBA, the provincial government will be there".
Finally, Pullaro assured that "Argentina will move forward if our countryside, our industry and our trade do well and if we can export. That is why we will always work together, we will continue to have this very fine look at the public sector and the private sector, working together, coordinating and thinking about policies for the development of our productive system and from there to show that Santa Fe is the locomotive of change, which will bring change in the national order".
For his part, the president of the San Justo Rural Society, Mariano Zuqueli, said: "Today we are celebrating 80 years with a full venue, full pens and very nice activities, is the result of the harvest that we have been sowing for years. This exhibition is a clear example of work, effort and perseverance that fills our souls and makes us want to keep working and continue to strive for more".
