Agroactiva: the Province presents a reverse business round to be held in Rosario

It is the Santa Fe Business Forum, which will be held in September and will be officially presented this Thursday at Agroactiva, in Armstrong. The aim is to promote exports from Santa Fe and to establish Rosario as a tourist business centre.

"Santa Fe Business Forum represents the commitment of an administration that will strengthen Santa Fe as a territory of opportunities," said Puccini.

The Government of Santa Fe, through its Ministry of Productive Development, will present this Thursday, at 15:00, the Santa Fe Business Forum event. The launch will take place at the Agroactiva exhibition, to be held in the city of Armstrong.

Santa Fe Business Forum will be held from 3 to 5 September 2024, in the facilities of La Fluvial, in Rosario, and aims to promote exports from Santa Fe and install the southern city as a tourist centre for international business and a showcase for the productive development of Santa Fe.

The "Santa Fe Business Forum" is conceived as a reverse business round that will bring together foreign companies from more than 30 destinations with the aim of generating business meetings with local firms.

The proposal also includes informative seminars and training, as well as business networking and matchmaking sessions. "Santa Fe Business Forum is a large and very ambitious project with multiple aspects, but above all it represents the commitment of an administration that will strengthen Santa Fe as a territory of opportunities, facilitating business and generating confidence to attract genuine investment," said the Minister of Productive Development, Gustavo Puccini.

Georgina Losada, Secretary of Foreign Trade and promoter of the initiative explained that the objectives are to showcase the province's commercial opportunities and international business and explained: "The forum will include the participation of exporting companies from Santa Fe and the rest of the country. We think of it as a big event with multiple complementary actions: a reverse round, an auditorium and an investment forum".

The secretary went on to explain that "the Santa Fe Business Forum consists of business meetings, matchmaking and training on international trade flows; it is an opportunity to identify businesses, create opportunities and generate strategic links", and is scheduled to be held annually.

MEASUREMENT OF RESULTS

In addition, the initiative will include the presentation of a system of metrics that will be carried out for each international event in which the province participates. "For each Foreign Trade action in international fairs, we regularly and methodically measure results every 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. This tool is essential to evaluate the real impact of participation, to account for the work done, to define strategies and to design more efficient practices to improve results. Metrics are the key to optimise the visibility and performance of the province; and of the companies, in each international participation," explained Losada.

The event will also showcase the tourist and cultural attractions of the city of Rosario and the area, and is expected to be attended by more than 200 representatives of major companies from around the world. In addition, potential investors will have the opportunity to visit the whole province, since, after the initial contact with local representatives, they will travel around the province to visit industrial plants and commercial sites.

In addition, multi-sectoral reverse business rounds will be held, where companies with export experience in Santa Fe will meet with potential buyers from different parts of the world. The activity will include training and permanent talks on topics of interest for the export sector and foreign trade. The investment forum "Why invest in Santa Fe" will also be held.

The presentation of the Santa Fe Business Forum of Rosario will take place at Agroactiva, in Armstrong, where the Government of Santa Fe, also through its Ministry of Productive Development, will display all its potential. There, from 5 to 8 June, the province will make an ambitious proposal that integrates exhibitions, launches, presentations, cultural offers, business rounds and training, doubling the bet and exhibiting all the regional production for 4 days in one place.
