Rosario Airport adds frequencies to Chapelco

In July and August there will be three weekly frequencies to the airport in San Martín de los Andes, in addition to those already operating to Iguazú, Mendoza and Neuquén.

"Our priority is to recover and promote regional connectivity, but also to consolidate our airport as a cargo terminal," Brett said.

The "Islas Malvinas" International Airport in Rosario (AIR) informs that it will have three weekly frequencies to the Aviador Carlos Campos Airport in San Martín de los Andes in July and August. "For the third consecutive year, Aerolíneas Argentinas will have the seasonal route connecting Rosario with Chapelco. It will operate with three weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. This frequency is in addition to those already operating to Iguazú, Mendoza and Neuquén," said board chairman Esteban Bretto.

Since December, the air station has been part of the Ministry of Productive Development of the province: "As we were entrusted by the Minister Gustavo Puccini, as soon as we took office, we started an agenda of meetings with all the companies in the market to show them our commitment to the growth of the activity. Our priority is to recover and promote regional connectivity but also to consolidate our airport as a cargo terminal," Bretto said.

In addition to seasonal flights to Chapelco, Islas Malvinas Airport recalls that in September they will add the destination Calafate and will resume the destination Ezeiza: "We receive 180 flights a month and we continue to add destinations. We are one of the few airports in the National System that remains operational 24 hours a day. And we are committed to continue growing", AIR authorities pointed out.

Today, in addition to providing services to commercial, sanitary, and official operations, the Rosario air terminal assists corporate or executive, agricultural, private or school flights. Aeroparque, Mendoza, Neuquén, Panamá, Bariloche, Iguazú, Río de Janeiro and Salta are the weekly destinations operated by AIR.
