Promotion of tourism development in the Central Region

The objective is to make the most of the natural, cultural and gastronomic potential of the different micro-regions. This Tuesday there was a meeting with participants from Santa Fe, Córdoba, and Entre Ríos in Victoria.

Claudia Giaccone, representative of Santa Fe and coordinator of the Executive Board of the Central Region, participated in the meeting.

The second meeting for the development of touristic micro-regions of the Central Region was held at the Termas Victoria Hotel, in Entre Ríos. The purpose of the meeting was to integrate the resources and attractions of the provinces of Entre Ríos and Santa Fe to the regional tourist offer, thus enhancing the development of the tourist activity and its positive impact on local economies.

The integration of resources and strategic planning are key to position Santa Fe as an outstanding tourist destination, and this meeting in Victoria underlines the importance of interprovincial cooperation to achieve this goal.

Authorities that were present: Claudia Giaccone, representative of Santa Fe and coordinator of the Executive Board of the Central Region; Jorge Chemes, representative of Entre Ríos; Claudia Rosenthal, provincial director of tourism of the Southern Region of the Government of Santa Fe; Martín Lima, Director of Tourism of the Government of Entre Ríos and authorities of the Municipality of Victoria were highlighted.

Representatives of the Rosario Association of Travel Agencies, the Victoria Trade Center and the Victoria Tourism Association were also present, promoting the creation of the "Paraná Corridor".

The schedule of the meeting included several activities, starting with the sharing of the development axes and products defined for the Rosario-Victoria Micro-region. Subsequently, working sessions were held in roundtables by management areas, where specific strategies were discussed and analyzed. Finally, the next actions to be taken in the different areas were proposed and agreed upon, setting a clear road map for the future development of the micro-region.

The development axes of the products and services of the Paraná Centro Micro-region focused on three fundamental areas: Nature and Wellness, Historical - Cultural - Religious, and Regional Gastronomy and Enology, also contemplating the development potential of other micro-regions in Entre Ríos, Santa Fe and Córdoba.

The management areas discussed included the planning, development and strengthening of the micro-region, the development of tourism products, infrastructure, promotion and advertising of the micro-region, and regulations, legislation, supervision, investment incentives and training.

This meeting represents a significant step towards the consolidation of the Central Region as a first-class tourist destination, and reinforces the commitment of the provinces of Entre Ríos and Santa Fe to work together for the sustainable growth of the tourist activity.
